PROVIDENCIALES, Turks and Caicos Islands: On Sunday morning, following a direct hit by Hurricane Ike on the Turks and Caicos Islands, Floyd Seymour, Leader of the opposition Peoples’ Democratic Movement (PDM), said this is the “worst natural disaster in living memory”.  According to Seymour, Grand Turk was very badly hit.

PROVIDENCIALES, Turks and Caicos Islands: Michael Misick, Premier of the Turks and Caicos Islands, assessed the damage in his country on Sunday morning, following Hurricane Ike’s rampage through the Islands.  In his report, Misick told Caribbean Net News that Grand Turk and South Caicos were the worst hit.
